Faye Bledsoe, LMFT

Hey Y'all ,

Welcome to part of my world. I am a passionate, empathetic, and

personable therapist who believes everything you need is already inside of you.

My goal as a therapist is helping you to unveil those hidden gems by creating a

safe place for you to explore, grow, and change. As your therapist, you gain

someone who walks with you through the hard, sits with you in the calm and

laughs with you when life gets funny. Therapy has the power to be life changing.

I would love the opportunity to work with you.

.

Outside of the therapy room you can catch me on the softball field, at a restaurant stuffing my face, or spending time with my family and friends.

Education & Credentials

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT

M.MFT, Lipscomb University

B.S., Biology, Alabama A&M University

Clinical Experience

My experience started in the classroom as a middle school teacher. In this space I developed how to build strong, caring relationships with individuals from various backgrounds to achieve their goals and grow. This work has overlapped into the work I have been able to do in the therapy room by continuing to foster those characteristics with my clients. I also have some training in play therapy which allows me to take a more creative approach to talk therapy by fostering a safe way to express and explore one’s inner self.

Clinical Specialties

I practice an integrative, evidence-based approach to therapy that’s centered around the client's needs and often includes restoration, cognitive-behavioral and Gottman interventions. My areas of special clinical interest include:

  • life transitions

  • relational concerns

  • marital/premarital

  • family conflict

  • anxiety

  • depression

  • self-esteem

  • and grief
