The SOULFUL BLOOM EXPERIENCEWe believe healing is a human process, not a clinical one.
RELATIONAL and EXPERIENTIALIn many therapy contexts, sessions involve you reporting on your week. You describe what happened and leave with a clearer understanding of a pattern you’re likely to repeat. This can be helpful but we’ve found that insight alone often doesn’t lead to lasting change. Because if all you had to do was “know better” you would have changed already.
Our experiential approach is intentional. We work with what shows up in the room as it’s happening. Shifts in posture, the way you change the subject, the emotional response you constantly push down. We don’t shy away from naming what’s happening and feeling through all the moments with you. Secondly, we support you with more than just conversation. Sometimes you may create the thing instead of describing it. Sometimes you’ll practice the hard conversation before you actually have it. And sometimes you might even play a game, or move your body, to support the progress toward your goals.
Being a relational practice does not mean we only work with couples and families (although we do LOVE them). It means we are always paying attention to what happens between people, groups, and systems. Whether it’s your friends, partner, family, workplace, community, or even the government, we understand that your ability to be well and love well is heavily impacted by all of it. Most of the hurt people carry happened in relationships, and we believe that’s usually where the healing happens too.

Therapy shouldn't feel like a transaction.
For too long, mental health support has been divided. On one side, the cold, clinical, "blank slate" model that pathologizes every feeling. On the other, a wellness industry full of quick fixes and social media’s version of self care and finding peace.
We wanted to create the space we knew was needed:
A therapy practice that is both clinically sharp and unmistakably human.
Kindred Wellness was founded on this simple idea. We are a collective of three therapists who were tired of the distance, the jargon, and the clinical hierarchy. We came together to build a sanctuary, a place that is as aesthetically grounded as it is clinically sound, where you can do the deep work of healing without ever feeling like a "patient."
Guiding principlesWhat we know to be true.
Clarity with CompassionWarm directness is a form of kindness.
We will not make you guess what we are thinking. We engage with you, ask hard questions with deep empathy, and believe that clarity is the fastest path to change. We are in this with you, not just observing from across the room.
Your Wisdom FirstYou are the expert on your own life.
You are not coming to us to be told what to do. You are coming to us to be guided back to the wisdom you already hold. Our job is to provide the tools, the framework, and the safe space for you to untangle the noise and hear your own voice again.
Strength in RelationshipHealing happens in connection
The name "Kindred" is our mission. It represents the shared, fundamental humanity that connects us all. The relationship we build—one of trust, safety, and zero judgment—is the most powerful tool we have.
Our PeopleThree founders,
one philosophy.
Each of us brings unique specialties, but we’re united by a shared philosophy of care.
